Happy May! Welcome to another month of scrapbooking challenges at The Lilypad! We are *finally* seeing a warm up of weather and some sunny'ish skies which makes me so excited to pull out my camera again and brush off the dust! For this month's photography challenge, I want you to get low. Like get your knees or belly on the ground low! Shoot from the ground or floor and capture your perspective from this low angle. Adjusting your position in relation to your surroundings can really change things up in a fantastic way and allow you to create some really inspiring images. Here is my layout. I used this year's NSD blog hop freebie from the TLP designers, Snapshots part one. I look forward to seeing your layouts with your photo/photos from this perspective! Remember our monthly challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the May Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).
OK then-----dd will have to have dd take photo for me. At 78 there is no such thing as getting down on your knees or belly. There would be no getting back up!!!!! We just went on an early morning photo shoot this morning to catch the sunrise, and I asked her to lie down and take a shot of a couple things I wanted. So----they will be my photos, but she will have to snap them for me. LOVE this challenge!!!!!
What @NancyP said! even though I'm a child of 73! I do love low shots and if I can get some frames from a video I took, it will work.
I'm with @NancyP sitting on a small stool is about as low as I go. Will have to get creative with this one.
lol! i was thinking this, too. i did do it, though...bu had to remind myself to not lay on the bumpy cement...its hard on the knees when getting back up
Interesting Challenge Indeed!...Getting Low Down Is Certainly Not My Favorite Thing To Do...I'm A Little Afraid I Won't Be Able To Get Back Up!...But To This End I Am Channeling The Color Blue Maybe This Coincides With The Flooding & Bad Rain Here In Our Surrounding Areas With Power Outages & Evacuation In Some Areas Outside The City Limits & Beyond...I Have Also Recently Felt Like That "Blue" Feeling I Get Sometimes Has Been Improved In A Really Positive Way & I Am Hopeful For The First Time In A Long Time That There May Indeed Be Light At The End Of My Proverbial Tunnel... *For My Blue Kinda Day Layout-I Used* *Snapshots/All The Feels/Ultimate Vacation/Jump For Joy/Collabs-All By The Lilypad *Hand Drawn Watercolor Butterflies By Knopazyzy(1 Element)
