Hello everyone! I’m back with a new month of the Project Parade and a new challenge for you! Every month the designers will pick out a few products to put on sale for you! These products often will lend themselves to hybrid type projects, but they are also perfect for digital projects and layouts too! PROJECT PARADE Challenge Every month there will be a new selection of products under the Project Parade category in the shop. These products will be on sale for you starting the 2nd Wednesday of each month. We will have a matching Project Parade Challenge here in the forum that will run until the last day of the month that will give you a chance to win $5 to the TLP Store! I’m sure you noticed either in the forum, gallery or the blog that we have been busy making projects for the Project Parade since about September. The Pollys have made some amazing projects using these products and a bunch of them have been fabulous hybrid projects. Now it is your turn to play along. The challenge requires you to use at least two products from the current month’s Project Parade category in the Store. You may create a hybrid project or a digital project and I will select one random winner who will receive $5 to the TLP store! The Challenge for YOU: 1. Choose at least TWO products from the current month’s Project Parade category, and make a project (hybrid or digital) You can find March’s products in the store here. 2. Upload your project to the MEMBER GALLERIES, with the Project Parade items you've used listed in the credits. So check your stash, or go get something new...and show off your style!! Be sure to check the blog on Wednesdays for the rest of the month for more inspiration from the Pollys using these Project Parade products. We will announce the winner at the end of this challenge. Please help me in congratulating our first Project Parade winner: lorryfach!
Congrats Lorry! Here's mine for March using three parade products actually, Cottage No 2, Special Snapshots and Sprinkles 21...
Here's mine using Fiddle-Dee-Dee's Special Snapshots Dressed Up #2 and Cottage #2 by Etc. by Danyale.
Okay, please believe me when I say this started out with Cheryl's dressed down templates from the project parade (the first in the preview, flipped horizontally for the left page) and then I had an urge to do a double pager so added more to the left side so that it flowed nicely into the right hand side. I also used Sunshine by Sara Gleason.
how have I missed this challenge.....thanks cheryl (fiddle dee dee designs) for posting on FB. here's my page using Miss Millie and stringbats v4
Do I have to use 100% products from the March Project Parade? Or is the challenge to just to include at least two products from that parade? Just wondering because I own elements, but no papers. And I already spend a lot of money in the retirement sale.. I really shouldn't buy anything more for a while. Though I still have my 30% off coupon. So. Yeah. Dilemma.
You can mix in whatever else you want as long as you use two products from the project parade category and it meets the gallery upload requirements.
Well this is not what I planned on scrapping last night, but it is what came out this night and I kinda like it! I used Valorie Wibbens' Sprinkles number 21 and Kate Hadfields Garden Grown.
