June Take Two Challenge

Another who doesn't really want to re-do something. However now I'v moved to digital I am thinking about redoing my paper pages into digital as the lumpy bumpy paper pages are just taking so much room up. Is that okay or do I have to choose something that I have in my gallery here?

 

I am always re-doing pages!! My photography skills aren't great and I love scrapping certain images, especially from when the children (my son and his cousins) were little, so I have a few layouts with the same photos.

The page I have redone is actually my latest page using the same kit. This time I used a template, and I'm much happier with it! I am one of those people who are learning creative skills, rather than someone with an innate artistic talent, so I always benefit from templates

I do keep my old pages though, so it's interesting to see how my skills are progressing.

I'm going to redo this one. It is a beautiful photo of my husband and the scrapping doesn't do it justice.


And now...

 

So I decided to rescrap this page that I actually love, but using the photos from my own 40 years of life, you know like one a year, each time around my birthday, since I don't have bday pics from a lot of years, most of my life I just quietly turned a new number on the day, and that was it, but I thought it'd be perfect for the challenge to do...

and as I finished the bg image made up of lots of little individually hunted down, resized and all that images, and opening the templates to see which one to use to go on top, I realized the computer stopped responding to me, and then informed me it would be rebooting, and then failed that, and now I lost it all, the whole morning of work -> under the dog's tail as the expression goes... Frustrated, cross with myself for not only not saving it but for actively turning off the autosave as it used to irritate me... trying to bite my elbows, and kick myself, but failing at both... just realizing it's not my day and I am out of shape, so for now I am off to cool down at the pool, and hoping that my genius husband might save the day when he is home... (writing this from my laptop)... wish me luck, and do save your pages!!! Lesson learnt (again!)
