June Product Challenge

    Hi everyone!! It's time for a new product challenge here at TLP :) This month, I want us all to play around with my favorite product - TEMPLATES :) You can find all of the store's templates HERE :) There is one little twist to this challenge, however :giggle You need to alter the template you use in some way - such as shrinking it, flipping it, merging it with another template (here's a link to a great tutorial on that :thumbsups) - do something that really changes the template!

    my page for inspiration - i combined two of sara's templates from her NSD grab bag :)

    Please remember and follow the Lilypad Challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% of Lilypad product. You should post your layout in this thread, as well as in the June Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked!

    The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month:

    2 challenges = 10% off
    4 challenges = 20% off
    6 challenges = 30% off

    If you complete all 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a guest spot on the Lilypad Creative Team! The first six challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the seventh challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).

    Definitely one of my favorite products, too!! Can't wait to do this one. Sounds so fun!

    Love it! Although am I the only one that feels a little guilty for modifying a template . . . as if I'm altering someone's design? LOL . . . goofy I know but now I have PERMISSION!

    I rarely use templates . . . makes me feel like I'm creating in a box or something, all constrained like. Is that weird? :eek :eek This will definitely be a challenge for me.

    Here is mine! Eager beaver much? LOL
    It may not look like I altered the template much, but I did LOL....I flipped the middle and top rows to suit my "story" better, and I also changed the color of the doodled lines :)

    awesome char! and i can't wait to see what you other ladies come up with !

    i'm working on a page today - it has been a rough week for me - i actually had to go to the ER yesterday bc i was feeling so bad! but am now on meds and starting to feel better - although really really tired!

    So I started this page with the intention of completing the template challenge… it quickly morphed into this page for the product challenge (altering a template) instead… Totally loving the resulting page
