A lot of boost and define and sharpen with some further adjustment layers on some to try and get the colours matching across the photos from different times of the day. On the one with the windmill I also used the clone stamp to get rid of two people sat in front of it.
Here's mine : Sorry the photo is soo BIG!! original photo (cropped, added lense flare and adjusted contrast/lighting)
1st. Here is the photo I altered. It is only one of many on the page, but it was too dark to show the details so I adjusted lighting and sharpness in photoshop https://1drv.ms/i/s!AirQqIbs0J4igu5sdpdxEkLHko-5FQ and here is my page
I didn't do too much editing on these. I did some adjustments in Raw and then I opened in Photoshop and used a paint on brightening action from Wish Photography and another creative action from her to enhance. Here are the before pics: And here's my layout with the edited images:
The original image, SOOC: Photo editing steps: 1. Basic development in Lightroom, including camera calibration, lens correction, exposure, white balance, vibrance and clarity. 2. In Photoshop, created desaturated layer and masked to grey out kids and other photographers. 3. Ran Simple Impressionist action by Design Arsenal. 4. Ran Paint Pro 3 by Ozono. This challenge was so much fun, as I too love photography and editing photos! Since I have 3 photos on my LO I will just chose one to show a before and after of. Before: After: And here is my LO:
Thanks for the challenge. I used radlabs to change my photo to black and white and add a slight antique tone. original photo:
Here's mine! I actually had to remove the metal bar from the frame of the boat out of the picture (which was painstakingly annoying because I don't have "content aware" in PSE 12), but I also brightened it just a tad, and added a sort of blue filter, just to make the water and sky look better. I'm not very smart today and saved my processed version over my original. The photo originally was pretty flat. I added some lighting effects and increased the warmth and contrast.
I processed the original photo in Lightroom, lowering the blacks and shadows way down and brightening the whites a lot, to increase the silhouette effect, then I blended it into the background paper using Linear Burn.
