Here is the video that I watched when I first learned to do it. Maybe that will help?

I like the idea, it's working for me, but it sure is not looking any good after I 'finish'! I have tried several photos now. I need to find one that works. It probably has to do with the fact that I such at extracting so there's too obvious lines showing.

I was so looking forward to whipping out layout number six today and then having the rest of my Saturday to do other things. I couldn't wait to get started this morning. Looks like I may not be able to do this one. It's too difficult for me. However, I will give it a try!

So.. I don't have photoshop! I scrap in Artisan. Is there a way I can do this challenge still so that I qualify for the end prize??

Honestly, I wasn't entirely happy with the photo I chose to work with, so I'm looking forward to playing around with it more when I have more time :)

before I put it on a page, does this look right? My problem was more on the cutting and wanding in Artisan 5! I think I need to still get rid of some smudge. thank you so much to @Genniejoy for helping with the tutorial!!!!

I'm not understanding how to do this at all. I have Photoshop CC. I made a copy of the image that I selected with content aware. But the original background photo image is still there. I don't know how to use content aware. I tried a video, but still couldn't get it. Maybe I'll try just putting it on a white background. I'm sorry to be so stupid, but I need more steps! EEK!!!

This is the video that I used when I first learned to do it. I did one step at a time pausing and watching. Maybe it could help?

I went a step further and did a stamp filter effect on the photo. I also kept the original colour photo underneath and played with the saturation, brightness/contrast to give it colourful undertones.
