Love the new look! I hear what you're saying. I had that same frustration as well last year. I LOVE the original pocket template maker action set by Mommyish, but the limited size choices wore on me over the course of the year. I really *need* a big photo on my pages every once in a while. I also found that I was having to make all of these strange little filler squares and rectangles to get my photos to fit right. It got messy looking to me. This year I'm using the expanded set and I'm totally in love. The clean look I want this year is easier with the expanded sizes (you don't notice it by looking at my pages, but I've been using the non-traditional 5x4 size quite a bit). And when I have a photo that needs to be big, I'll have an option to make that large photo space.
@Rovanice Your blue and white chevron wall is GORGEOUS!! Perfect backdrop for photos! And I love the date block you have - very cool!
@tkradtke I didn't even know there WAS an expanded set!! Also, when I DL'd my original set, for whatever reason, the rounded corner set didn't install right... I don't really usually use rounded corners, so I didn't go back and try to fix it. But now I wish I would have because every now and then a girl needs a change.
Run... RUN to the store and check it out!!! It's my new favorite thing. I use it for everything now, not just pocket pages. I think there are something like 80+ different sizes!!
Thanks! Took me hours to paint it and now we are going to move in a few weeks so I have to leave this wall behind! I'm still thinkin about making a new one in our new house
My 2nd page of week 2, I was going to squeeze it all into 2 pages but I made three instead, I'm loving the bigger photos more than saving pages.
Wow! I had no idea such a thing existed! (I just lurked onto this thread for a little 52-week inspiration, and now I have to buy this product and learn how to use actions!!! Lurking is expensive!!! )
week 2 was a TOUGH week for us! not exactly how we envisioned or hoped 2017 would start. Still, it's life, and we have our story to tell.
Sorry you are having to deal with all that. I was "downsized" at the start of the recession and it was very scary and upsetting. It pushed me to make a much-needed change, though, so ended up being a good thing ultimately. I think the job market is pretty good right now so hopefully, it'll be a quick transition for you guys. Hugs!
