JANUARY 14: Document Your Day (Random) A significant part of memory keeping is capturing the every day, even mundane moments of our lives. As life is ever changing and evolving, it is meaningful to be able to look back on the different seasons of our lives with some clarity. One way to do that is by documenting a typical day in your life. What do your days look like currently? Are you up early rushing to get out the door to work or carpool, or are you able to enjoy a leisurely cup of coffee? What kinds of activities are you involved in on a daily or weekly basis? What are you eating? Who are you spending time with? You get the idea. The Challenge today is to document a day in your life. Here are the requirements: Choose a day to document (It could be today, but it doesn't have to be ) The date must be visible on your page. Your page must include at least 5 times of the day. Your times can be actual times such as 8:00am, 3:00pm, or more general such as early morning, afternoon, etc. Each time must have at least one line of journaling (a few words is fine, more if you like) to describe what was happening at that time. Your page must include at least 3 photos. Here's my take on the challenge. Can't wait to see yours. Please remember the General MOC Requirements: Your page must be a new page in order to count for the Month of Challenges. Your page must be posted in three places: Uploaded to the TLP Gallery (not an outside hosting site). Posted in your page thread you created in the MOC Layouts Folder. You should have one post per completed challenge page. If you complete all 31 challenges, your thread should contain 31 posts. Please do not comment in the participants’ page threads so we can keep them clean. Posted in this thread. People can comment here if they wish. Pages should contain at least 75% current Lilypad product (currently for sale in the store from either permanent designers or guest designers).
OK, I am using this page as an experiment to see if I like that look for my 2018 album. I am still undecided but I like the plastic pocket look. Still not sure if I will be able to keep this up all year though. Since I want to make my page today I couldn't use today as my documented day and instead I chose one from almost three years ago. It was off, that's why I am so lazy,
I am not sure when I am going to be documenting my day, and I know you said a typical day, but I will be leaving for vacation this week and will be gone from home about ten days. Would I be able to document a typical day on a cruise for us?
Sure. Whatever you are up to at the moment. Or if you want to do a typical day and use generic photos that's fine too. I think you should do whichever is going to be more meaningful for you.
I need this challenge! I did a scrapbook page years ago of a typical day but that might have been BC (before children). I've been trying to find motivation to do this again since life is so different for us now. So I'm setting some alarms for tomorrow to grab some new photos throughout the day!
I already set up to do a day in the life page today XD Have my timeline set up in my Bujo all ready to go! should make today easy!
Our roads were last of our whole subdivision, and they were so bad. We vowed not to complain at all when they came to our street. Well, they are here, so we rejoice! lol I copied, flipped a few times, the view from our front door as the crew tears up and works on our road, a 12 hour synopsis!
Been shopping, and bought the template from the store that I'd put in my wishlist if I ever wanted to do a page like this. I've got my foundation page set-up ready to add the details and photos tomorrow.
