We are 1 week into MOC! 7 challenges down! There's a couple things I noticed are being done the hard way, so I thought I'd help you out!

    1. Post to the Gallery First. Once you do that, copy the Special Link on the side. There's a screenshot of this magical link in this post: https://the-lilypad.com/forum/threads/gallery-sizes-and-crediting.51961/

    2. Post to the Challenge Thread using the Gallery Link. Your Host and Others who love your layout can click right over to your page in the gallery and leave your layout love! Don't upload it. Link for Layout Love! :heartlub

    3. Post to your MOC thread that has the title of your User Name. Make each Layout a New post in your Thread. Label each post. Day 1 Blind Scrap: Layout Link. Day 2 Sketch: Layout Link
Not sure what that means? Check out here https://the-lilypad.com/forum/threads/please-read-re-layout-threads-additional-requirement.51891/

3a) This makes tallying at the end faster, which makes Julie happy, and YOU happy because rewards can't be sent until the tallying is done! :stash

    4. Check your Inbox. If someone Conversations you, don’t be afraid. Answer them. We truly want you to succeed!

4a) Want to Reduce Conversations? Read the Challenge Instructions one last time before you post your layout to make sure you didn’t miss something easy like the date. Also, post your credits in the gallery.

    5. Ask Questions. Not sure how to do something? Or where to put something? Ask:helpy. We are a loving community, and we have all been new!

Scrap Your Heart Out and Have Fun! Yes, some of the challenges are challenging. We know that. We also aim to help you as much as possible to succeed!

May your creativity thrive and friendships be formed and things be learned during this wonderful time of the year!

Yes! There were several times that I wanted to comment on someone's layout but it wasn't clickable to the gallery.

I put in January 1 / Jan 1 etc rather than day 1 - I was assuming that was ok, if not I can go back and change it :)

Yep! Using the actual date: January 1 is perfectly okay. Either Day 1 or January 1 is acceptable. Just make sure you add in the Challenge Title too!

Yes! Well said, everyone here has always been in the place of being brand new and needing to learn how to upload your layouts to a gallery. I still remember an online friend teaching me how to size my layout correct so I could share.
All of us here want everyone to succeed, and have fun!!

Yes. This... I was all done on the Mood Board one until I realised I had missed the MAKE you own mood board part. I had to go then and make one with similar images to the mood board that I had found and made my page from.

@bestcee I used your tip of bookmarking my layout thread and it worked brilliantly and FAST for all 31 layouts. Last year I spent so much time scrolling through the pages to find my thread. It was so much better this time. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
