We love to use our grill, especially once it starts getting hot. Once we're in summer mode it becomes grilled food and slow cooker meals. Almost nothing is off limits for the grill - meats and veggies, but we'll also make desserts from the grill. We love peaches with a scoop of ice cream and banana boats. If we do fish, we also use a cedar plank.

We grill quite a bit - really even in the winter since in Georgia we can have some pretty mild days. Lots of burgers of course, but we also do chicken breasts, steak, kebabs (chicken, beef, shrimp, veggies) Grilled pineapple is good.

I also like to marinate a flank steak for a few hours and grill it and then cut it really thin to use in a salad - or fajitas.

One time we sliced pound cake and dipped it in an egg/milk mixture (think french toast), then grilled the slices and served with strawberries and cream. yummy!

I like that bacon-wrapped mushroom idea.

We are grillers and smokers! NOM NOM! Some recipes that I have done on the grill.... Most I change up to our tastes, and we always have a veggie or two with dinner.... Here's a start. :)

This one is just chicken... and we grill rather than bake. http://www.wittyinthecity.com/2011/08/man-pleasing-chicken/

OMG... SO SO YUMMY.... the salt is needed, even just a little. Tried it once without, and it wasn't the same.

Shrimp Kebobs... again, we grill at the end rather than bake.

Another Shrimp - we use an aluminum pan, and use that on the grill...

Stuffed Flank Steak...This is good inside non-grilling too, but better grilled.

Stuffed French Bread...enough foil so it doesn't leak out if you're big stuffers.

Grilled Brussel Sprouts - though it will work for any veggie.

And... my new found love, foil packs. Here's a great list of meals....

2018iNSD.png We love to grill... one of my favorites is the cherry brats we get up near our place in Michigan. So good! This year we're going to have to get creative though since Clara is now vegan. Anyone have any good grilled veggie/meat free recipes?

Is that Bart? He looks different than usual, like a thumbnail instead of his usual big self. :D

    Kiss! I love him anyway!

We've grilled 2x this week now that it is finally warm. I am loving it. No fancy recipes here though. For fish I always used a grill pan with small holes and a smooth surface, so the fish didn't tear or I wrapped it in foil to cook it. I like the sound of those fruit kabobs yum!

I love grilling season because that means hubby will cook dinner! I like that it's his thing, so I get a break from cooking. I have grilled hotdogs but that's as far as I go. If I learn to do the other stuff, then it'll be my job and I don't want that... hehe

Hubby grills steaks, hamburgers, hotdogs, chicken and kabobs. He's even done veggies in foil... Nothing special just some olive oil and Montreal steak seasoning sprinkled on top.

Don't even own a grill and probably never will. Back in my mid 20's hibachi grills were the thing to have when you lived in an apartment. My roommate and I did use it... well, she used it. I honestly don't know what happened to it. My parents had an "electric" grill they used on the screened in porch. Once Mom died and Dad moved to NC, it never got used and eventually rusted since the roof leaked.

    Yeah, I'm not a griller.

We grill year round since our deck is covered- BUT we definitely use it more in the warmer months. Right now we're on a kabob kick- It's so fun to put some veggies & some meat on a stick to eat! I'm loving shrimp right now too- I did a spicy shrimp- old bay seasoning & some smoked paprika & oil- they were delicious! Teriyaki shrimp are pretty popular in my house too with some grilled pineapple!

Alas I don't. Grilling is the one form of cooking that I don't do. My husband is not someone who looks up recipes, either, for when he grills.

Unfortunately, my husband gets home too late during the week during the school year for us to grill out & still eat at a reasonable time. I'm looking forward to the school year being over in a few weeks so we can grill out a few times a week.
