Find Pad Pals near you!

Okay... This stemmed from a conversation here in the pad, and I've attempted to start us up in Zeemaps. (I originally saw this idea for Teal Pumpkin Project last October, and recently saw this on another site.)

Participation is completely optional, but the idea is that you could find out if there are any scrappers near you for "in real life" meet up potential!

Zeemaps is "crowd-sourced maps", and I believe the information is pretty open. That said, I do not recommend putting your address, exactly. I've put my city, and my user name, and added my avatar picture, but it's totally up to you. Ideally, if anyone is in my area, or is travelling to my area, they could send me a PM and we could maybe work something out to meet up!

Again.... Totally optional, and not very private. So just know that going in

I believe you just have to click on the link, select "additions", select "add marker - simple". Entry name is where I placed my username. For location, I typed my city and state. Then at the bottom of the box, I uploaded my avi photo, and selected a fuschia marker color.

It looks "official" that I'm traveling to Detroit area in about 2 months. Definitely interested in meeting up on an evening if anyone is in the area!!!!

 

Perhaps I put it on my travel bucket list to come see you, and we spend a day in your art studio, so I can learn all you know.
