Do you have a fave product that you've been using a lot lately? I have been obsessed with thread and use these brushes a lot, often erasing bits or warping bits. It's funny how our tastes can change over time. If you had asked me this question a few years ago, I never would have said "thread" but now....I just love it!
@jesskab Jess - if you like string I think you'd like thread too. I started off using a lot of string and that's what got me interested in playing with thread.
I am obsessed with Paula Kesselring's vintage stuff right now. I want to put something vintage on every page I do. I am constantly digging through her store to find stuff to add to my pages. I also find myself reaching for little bits of pages and papers from books to layer with. I love when they are curled and torn. It just adds so much texture and depth to a layout.
I've been obsessing over cut-files for months! So giddy that @Scrapping with Liz has been creating and adding some news!
I'm in love with that thread, Rae. Thanks so much for sharing! I had to get both of Valorie's sets, and I've already used them. They're a great buy since one set also comes with the brush file, and the other set comes with the thread shadow style. So great. Love them! Thanks again!
Isn't her vintage stuff great? I actually get giddy when I look at all of her Halloween ephemera. I can't wait to scrap Halloween. Her stuff is the first thing I'm making a beeline to. Woohoo!
I'm obsessed with every style from Mommyish but I've been working these plastic pockets into everything lately. I just love them so much https://the-lilypad.com/store/CU-Stylin-187.html
Papers...I was never one for a lot of patterned paper but that's what I tend to buy most of the time. Using it as the background layer for my PL has given me a chance to go 'wild'ish!
Word strips. I always liked them but now I use them ALL THE TIME. I love the looks of that thread and am tempted to get it but I know I'll never use it. If they go under and over stuff then I'm too lazy to do the shadowing and just plop it somewhere isn't good enough
I'm in love with Mommyish styles too! My favorite right now is the Halftone Vellum. It's perfect for titles and I use it a lot lately.
@Dalis I like the convenience of having the brush handy to quickly grab and stamp onto my page. I use the brush a lot in my personal pages.
