So, here I am to say the dreaded word ... DECEMBER! Seriously, where on earth has the time gone this year?? I'm really struggling with the fact that we are almost ready to say goodbye to another year, and welcome in a new one! But, it's going to happen whether we're ready or not! I'm closing the year out with the Take Two Challenge - you have the choice of re-scrapping a photo you've scrapped before, OR you can rescrap a page you've scrapped before (sort of a "lift yourself" option). For this month, I chose to rescrap one of my favorite photos of Roxy. I've always thought that it just captures her "let's go have fun" personality that she's had from the moment we got her. And although I do still like the page, my scrap style has changed since I scrapped it in 2009. Here's the original photo/page: And here's my rescrap of the photo: As always, there's a few rules for your page: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. You should post your layout in this thread, as well as in the December Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked! And of course, your page should be posted in the Lilypad Gallery so we can leave lots of love! The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete all 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a guest spot on the Lilypad Creative Team! The first six challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the seventh challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges). Now, let's see how you Take Two!
I'm a bit outside of the box I think. Very thin challenge touch maybe. last year I made a layout looks like a postcard and I love it so much. This winter I want to make another postcard page like I did before. This is the only connection between them maybe. no photo, no scrap, I just add something to create a winter scene to feel bright & merry old one is here: and the new one:
Okay here is my take 2 Challenge These are really old photos from 2012 the last good snow fall we got in the mountains of our area.
