Hi everyone, and welcome to December. I can hardly believe that we are at the end of the year already! This month I get to bring you the Journaling Challenge. The challenge is simple: journal on your photo. Because this is a journaling challenge, you must have at least 3 sentences of journaling on your photo. Here is my page for a little inspiration: And remember the regular monthly rules: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the December Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).
Because my photo had a busy background, I added some Vellum to hide the guy next to us and then journaled on that, so hope it still qualifies?
I was missing something on this page, was unhappy, the challenge pushed me in the right direction, thanks
Well, I wrote in three different spots, and counted the date as a line. I didn't like the way it looked with more than that.
I used this challenge on my DYD Day 4 layout! The clone stamp tool in PS CC was useful for darkening the background on the photo a little bit so that the text would show up better...
One from me: Hard to see, but the journaling says " Can I have just one smile? One tiny smile? Getting you to smile for the camera is SO hard!" my daughter hates smiling for the camera!
