Recently I found that there is a way to create my own shortcuts in PS.
Simply go to Edit and then Keyboard Shortcuts.
The good thing is that if the combination I chose is already taken, it allows me to edit both.
I used it to create shortcuts for the functions I use the most, like "copy layer style", "paste layer style" and "create layer".

You can read more info here:

I hope you'll find it useful. PS has so many functions and I feel like I have explored only a small fraction of them.

YES! I love that you can not only customize your shortcuts- but also your workspace! Have you tried the color tags for menu items? That's one of my most favorite things to customize! I'll PM you ;)

Basically in the keyboard shortcuts menu- you can choose the visibility & color of menu bar items. I change colors of things I use often (like filters, etc) so they stand out when you open that menu bar. Make sense? Also I turn off the visibility of all the bridge options since I don't use bridge. Just makes a few less options in the menus = cleaner/easier.

I changed F2 to run my save action. It saves a printable jpeg, and then saves for web. It's awesome to be able to just press a button to run an action!
    I love customizing keyboard shortcuts.
