Hello! I have a pdf that has a shape in it that I want to isolate and create a png from so I can utilize it as a template shape. (It's a specifically shaped tab for a digital notebook.) I opened the pdf in PSCC and was able to select the shape but then I'm not able to do much with it - or, maybe more accurately, I don't know what to do next. Anyone have ideas as to how I can proceed and get to my desired outcome?

First, make a duplicate of your image if it is locked. Then you can turn off the original layer to work on the new one. Select your shape then invert the selection and hit delete. Alternatively, if the part you want to delete is pure white, just select the white part with the wand tool and delete.
