Kissed the frog!
I looked at my order history too and back in Jan 2010 my first kit was ................. first kiss collab by Kaye Winiecki & Valorie Wibbens (retired) .... ahhh that was a long long time ago
Oh ladies, this exceeded all my expectations!!
I was away this weekend visiting with a friend who has a serious illness and I just returned and read every entry in this thread.
First of all, it was SO fun to see all the kits that drew you here to begin with. I loved reading all the stories of how you came to be here.
Also, WOW. I can't believe your first layouts!!!! They are truly impressive. I hope it's been fun going down Memory Lane together. Keep 'em coming!!
My first product that I bought with my own moola was this:
This is the first product I used for a page here at the Pad.
It is still one of my favorite pages:
I love this story! Have you scrapped it? The rainbow of shoes would make a beautiful layout!
GAH!!!! I have to have this kit! The eggs are SO stinkin' cute!
Too funny Sarah, it was the eggs that made me get this one! LOL!!! My daughter was an EGG lover, plus she said it in the cutest Spanish accent. It was the only thing she would say in Spanish. LOL!!!
I haven't - that's a good idea. I'm ashamed to say they're buried in my garage somewhere. blush
This was also the very first thing I released at TLP and still one of my favorites!
My first purchase here was doodled photo frames from a designer who is no longer here.
My first was a collab called Summer Stories, that I think was free from a blog hop or something at the time. I liked the kit so I checked out the forum after that.
this thread I think must be one of the most favorites ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@AllisonPennington you HAVE to scrap that page!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hey Bart is nostalgic and needs lovng!!!!
The first thing I ever purchased here was Travel Bug in May of 2008 by Jacque Larsen:
I used the Florida shape here:
My first kit was Art & Soul by Sahlin Studio and Holly Designs.
Back then I was only a TLP member because I followed Krista and this is where challenge layouts had to be uploaded, like this one, my first layout here (and one of my very first layouts ever):
It took me about 2 more years to actually dive in and see what's here - and I'm so glad I did!
Bart doesn't remember his first kit, but he does remember his first kiss! It was toad-ally awesome!
The first day I bought anything from the-Lilypad was all the way back in January 2013, and it was a large order, including the Dayplanner collab from One Little Bird and Paislee Press, the Live Laugh Love collab from Pink Reptile Designs and Paislee Press' More+Less elements.
The first page I posted here was in January 2014- and it used some items from that Dayplanner collab:
