August Photography Challenge

Here's mine - not terribly original but hey, it's my foot, my memory & makes me happy!

 

Here's mine. A friend and I went out for dinner, and she took me to a "popsicle truck" that was hidden down this back alley. The babushka graffiti was painted on one of the alley walls.

Page 2 of this double layout has me on the suspension bridge. Yes, I did go across (a personal challenge, since I'm not so fond of bridges). If I'd been further along, it could have been a bit of a Where's Waldo photo.

I thought I was being so clever taking a picture from the airplane window. I must have been having a foreshadowing thought of a photography challenge. LOL!

 

As part of playing tourist in my own city, I've been taking breaks on my lunch hours to visit spots I like around the city. I really wish I could dig up the photo of me at 21 sitting on that bench!

Fun challenge, I have a lot of photos of my husband trying to take the perfect photo, he snuck into the corner here...

 

LOve and hate white backgrounds LOL...just can't see where the page ends...love the finished look while printing

 

My favorite way to get us in the shot when we go places is to just take a photo of my husband doing something- walking, checking out tidepools, climbing stuff...I actually hate taking posed photos in front of landmarks because I never like the way I look in those pictures (though I do admit to doing it in front of Mt. Rushmore because, hey, Mt Rushmore).

Here's one I took last summer of my husband walking on the beach during our first trip to Dauphin Island!

 

I used an idea from some of the other girls, and extracted the moths from a piece of paper
