August Journaling Challenge

Mine ....thanks for the great challenge!

 

I had to recreate the scene of the Grand Canyon from someone else's pictures because I don't have any photos from that long ago...the "picture" is very clear in my mind, however:

 

lovely challenge here is mine...my kids off course

 

The photo is a scanned photo from my baby album that my mom hacked into a triangle

 

Yesterday afternoon my sister learned that she has breast cancer. None of us thought this would be the outcome of the tests because our family is prone to benign cysts. I am shocked. I am even more surprised by the sadness I feel. I can understand empathy, but I feel so very sad right now. I know that Abba is with us both, and that this sadness will not overwhelm me. This page helped get some of those feelings out...

Its really hard for me to do a journaling page, but having a challenge for it is a good incentive!

 

Seeing my kids grow up always creates emotions! This is my oldest!
