    Hi all! This month I am kicking off a fun challenge for you to create a layout in 15 minutes on the 15th of each month with me!

    You can check out the details and enjoy the template here on my blog-     and every layout you enter gets you a chance to WIN a $10 gift certificate to my shop!

    *remember- if you play along, you need to post your layouts and links here in this thread.
    *8/16 Update- if you downloaded prior to 8/16 and have folders in your template- give it another download- there are no longer folders so it will play nicely with PSE now! ;)

    this is a fab idea! the 15th is always such a drag day of bills and reconciliation of checkbook..this will be like a ray of sunshine on a day I am supposed to be an adult!

    I could not finish in 15 minutes for two reasons. 1. It took longer than that just to find the photos I wanted to use, even hurrying. I would have spent even more time looking for even better photos and a better distribution of them through time if I hadn't been hurrying. 2. The template was very frustrating to use. The photo shapes are very awkward and cut off too much of the photos, even important things, like parts of my kids. And whenever I tried clicking on a photo to move it, it moved the entire set of photo spaces. I think it was something about the folder system used for the template, which I don't normally use.
    But I'm pretty happy with my page anyway. :)

    I thought maybe I went about choosing the topic of my first page poorly. My daughters' singing does bring me joy but I didn't write about that in the journaling anyway. So I decided to try to quickly choose 6 pictures from the last couple of months that represent things that bring me joy. Still couldn't finish in 15 minutes. Also, I need more ForeverJoy kits. I only own MixTape and her part in a blog hop called Adventure, and a paper pack called Dandelion Days. And a couple of word art freebies from ScrapOrchard days. So that was quite limiting. :)

    @michelepixels these layouts are really AWESOME! And yikes! I did get a hint that folders don't work well in PSE- so I updated the download with layers not in folders- and heard that did the trick- you should def redownload it :yup I thought finding photos "on theme" might have slowed you down in the first LO- I find grabbing a few that are from a chunk of time instead- speeds up my flow- and- working with only one kit def makes things faster- fewer choices take away analysis paralysis! :giggle
    And hey! It may have taken you a bit longer- but- you've got TWO really nice layouts- that tell great stories to show for it! So- you go girl! :hi5
