I have recently found Camilla. Láckberg A Swedish author and I love her. Not the usual depressing Swedish characters either. Would love to see what you all think.. the Stone cutter or the Stone Angel...

I enjoyed the Handmaid's Tale. It was different.
What Einstein Told His Cook is on my to read. I don't know if anyone else would be interested in that though!

Have we read The Night Circus here? I'm hosting it for my IRL book club in August and LOVED it!

Also have The Radium Girls on my nightstand to read after I finish Reconstructing Amelia..

And I listened to Into the Water on our road trip and really enjoyed it (although I think reading would be easier, because the audio version has 4 different readers all reading the same characters, depending on what place in time the story's being told.. super confusing!)

I was SUPER bored by Handmaid's Tale and haven't watched the show, but everyone I talked to had a similar experience, saying the series is MUCH better and far more intriguing..

Loved The Night Circus (i dont think we read it here though); UnWind has been on my TBR for a while; just finished The Woman in Cabin 10 - was very good, better than Girl on the Train to me; not sure what i'm reading next...

So far, I'm driving my spouse nuts with "That's not how the book went". I hate being that person, and I usually try not to be! But some of the character changes are bugging me. The show moves faster in some ways than the book.

I'd love to join in reading in August. I just ordered a Kindle for my birthday present and need some ideas of what to read. I've already read the Handmaid's Tale and highly recommend that everyone read it. Looking forward to seeing what the August choice will be.

I will try to get this thread compiled and a voting thread up tomorrow. I'm having computer issues right now though. I think I'm headed to Best Buy tonight to remedy those issues. :)
