Ah, February, the shortest, coldest (for some of us) month. Let's warm up with a Valentine. You are not you, you are someone else. Let's call you Not-You. Not-You has fallen madly in love with you. Not-You may have his/her vision blurred a bit by cupid, but s/he can still see you. S/he is going to make you a valentine, telling you AT LEAST ONE THING s/he loves about you. Go! Sample layout made with the February 2017 Mixed Media Monthly (M3) kit, with elements from Lynne-Marie and Paula Kesselring. The fonts are TangieAJFbandersnatch, TangieAJFelephants, and tangieAJFcheshire. 2nd layout made with elements from Dawn Inskip (M3Feb17 Add-On); Little Butterfly Wings (M3May15); Lynne-Marie (FirmFoundations6 & M3Sept16); and Paula Kesselring (M3Feb16 & M3Feb17.) The font is Before the Rain. A man once said this to me. Sometimes, to find good things about oneself, it’s necessary to rummage through memories. Deadline: March 16th, 2017 Prize: a random draw for a 5$ coupon to the M3 store! Challenge rules : - Your page must contain at least 60% of M3 products - Post your layout in this thread and the M3 gallery.
I don't see anything wrong with your post. It looks fine to me. A fun challenge, I'll play on the weekend.
Ohhh, this is a hard one right now. The tail end of winter and I don't like each other very much so I'm not feeling very lovable right now about anything, much less myself lol. I'll do this, because a page like this will be very important to my current (& lifelong) project, but I may wait a bit. By the way @sbpoet, I like your quirky aesthetic too This is a great challenge and you explained this in a great way.
In one of the MOC5 challenges we were challenged to make a "double" spread. I chose to make an 8 1/2 x 22 spread. I find the size is challenging but rewarding. I decided to use that size again here... WhatILoveAboutYou by ArmyGrl posted Feb 18, 2017 at 9:31 PM
No size requirement! & whoa, I haven't been getting alerts on this thread; I thought no one was interested! So pleased to see such creativity here!
I hope it's okay I erased "inside my head" and "4 you" in the scribble. Not-You To You by bbymks5 posted Feb 20, 2017 at 12:59 PM
It IS ok. The elements are there for you to play with. You may recolor, resize, alter any way you like.
When my kids were little, I would put them in the empty cart and run them across the parking lot to the cart corral. It was probably the biggest thing that makes me a "cool mom".
Okay I decided to give it a try. This is my first M3 challenge creation. Most of the people I meet comment on how much they like my southern accent. I added a few "strictly southern" phrases to the layout just for fun.
