Does anyone know the path to installing styles and brushes into any PSE program in Windows 10? I am currently using PSE 8 (because I didn't like 14) and was wondering if anyone knows how to install them with Windows 10? I would love to use the styles Mommyish included in the Of Wishes Hopes and Dreams collab. Thanks ladies.
@Shari C>Program Data>Adobe>Photoshop Elements>10.0>Photo Creations>Layer Styles Make sure you have enabled "show hidden files" so you can access this path.
I'm using Windows 10 and there is no file labeled Program Data. That is where I am stumped. I have loaded styles multiple time in XP, Windows 7 and 8 but I can't figure out the right pathway for Windows 10. I can get to Adobe by going into Program Files but then there is no Photo Creations folder when I get there.
I think Program Data is a hidden folder in windows 10. You'll have to unhide it. Right-click the “Start” button, then select “Control Panel“. Go to “Appearance and Personalization“, then select “File Explorer Options“. Click the “View” tab. Scroll down a bit and change the “Hidden files and folders” setting to “Show hidden files, folders, and drives“. Hope that helps.
Kayla thank you so much. This is exactly what the problem was. Thank you, thank you, thank you Kayla!
I'm glad it's working for you Shari. Nothing's worse than not being able to scrap with all the goodies.
Yuppers, that's why I indicated in my first post that you needed to show hidden files so you could see the path! Glad you got it working. Can't live without my styles!!!!
Yes you did Cheryl. Thank you. I just couldn't remember how to do that either and I actually thought it was just a Windows 10 issue because I never had to enable show hidden files in my other Window's programs. Alright smarties, how do I load the brushes? hehe
