The journaling reads:
The kitchen in our first house was completely gutted prior to us moving in, which meant no sink. So from the first week of August we washed dishes in the bathroom sink or bathtub. In late October we we re gifted a secondhand utility sink and I was in heaven. We could actually clean up from meals in the kitchen!

After a few more months of looking at the plumbing, in April I finally decided to do something about it and made a skirt to go around the bottom of the sink. Voila! Functional and much prettier to look at.

This is such a cool page! I love the memories you've captured so well with your photo and journaling! What a cute skirt you made too and I love how you pulled the colors for your page from it. :)

So pretty and so lovely. Everything works so perfectly. PS I had to do the exact same thing in our first house!
