I just noticed that I forgot to add some shadows... everything here has a strong meaning to me, Loving Tangie's Scaredy Cats class...I went for it even though I am far from scared of Art Journal, my aim was more to be able to communicate to others , friends of mine who are interested but in panic even about thinking of making a page that is vaguely artsy...and in the process I confirmed this thing of us never stopping learning. Tangie's class is really something that goes beyond the art journal thing, or maybe is because of being art journal that goes straight to your soul....
I'm not shy about scrapping photos of me, I think we need to scrap ourselves so in the future, whoever will look at our books, pages, will know who was putting history to record....but usually I do pictures with Sarita, so this is a different kind. The photo here is from June 2017, the week in which I finally, after 5 years sharing the beauty that means being part of the Pad's family, I met in person Christa Cfile & her husband CJ.... at the Kings Cross Station area...just across the road from Platform 9 & 3/4, then met a new friend, but someone whom I love as much as if we had been friends for a longer time, JulieStcyr... that week gave me many smiles, much broader than the one in the photo even... so, what I am trying to say is, maybe is not very well composed, not making sense to anyone but myself...but it was a delightful at times, hurtful at others, page to make....
