Description:
Went a bit artsy, because it was fun. Duplicated and flipped the photos a few times.
journaling:
The crew that did the water mains and concrete were done. It was now time for the road crew.
At 6am, all was quiet, the sun was peeking up.
By 8am, the house was rattling as the grinder and big dump trucks tore the road up.
At 10am, we took a break from school, to watch the equipment right in our front street. The road was down to dirt. The crew was working fast.
At 1pm, the final edges and big pieces were being collected by a bull dozer or two.
Then, at 3 pm, the crew began clean up. A water truck and roller went through again and again. Now, they had to wait for good weather to do the asphalt.
At 6pm, dinner is done, the road is clear of workers, we await tomorrow.
