As some of you may know, I recently returned from my annual trip to Disney World. Over the years I’ve chronicled how my memory keeping has changed each time I visit WDW. Recently, I pulled together all of my previous posts for you to see where I’d been. Now, I’m reviewing what happened this trip and sharing what I’ve learned with you.
This time around, I relied on Memory Maker. If you don’t know, Memory Maker is a service you can purchase as part of your trip which gives you access to all of the pictures taken by the Disney Photopass photographers, as well as on-ride photos. When I pulled together all of my photos from the trip, over 3/4 of the photos I have are taken by Photopass photographers. I like the ease of knowing that they are capturing pictures and that I don’t always feel like I have to be on top of taking pictures.
The pictures I did take are among my favorites. The photos I captured seem to capture the small, fun moments we had on the trip. While I love the professional pictures, these pictures have a more personal feel. These are the photos that have some of the best memories attached to them.
Pocket scrapping is for me. I stopped Project Life over a year ago, but when I sat down and started really thinking about putting together this Disney album, I just kept coming back to pocket style. You can see that I brainstormed my ideas about the album right in my planner on the days when we were away.
I hope that me sharing my ideas about my memory keeping process can help you. Now we have to see if I really get the album done!
