Happy New Year fellow froggers! Julie B. (mrs2a50) here, with a brand spankin’ new, 2008 Edition of Froggy Friday! Man, two thousand EIGHT! Where does the time go? Seems like it flies right by without me even knowing! But, I digress … like I said, its the first Froggy Friday of the new year, and if this is any indication, 2008 is going to be a fantastic year for digi scrappers! Our Lilypad Designers have whipped up another amazing BYOC Collection for you – a sweet, sugary, winter collaboration of gorgeous colors, touchable textures and realistic elements I just know you’re going to love! So grab your beverage of choice (coffee? Pepsi? martini?) and sit back, ’cause this is one chock-full blog post!
When I start a page, I almost always start with my papers. Amy Wolff has created two gorgeous packs of papers – Just Flakey (with a bonus solid paper)
and Sweet Icicles – reminds me of a big bowl of frosty sherbet!
Amy Martin got a little messy and wrinkly with her textured Winter Wrinkles:
We also have Jenna Desai’s Winter Garden, six papers with beautiful, unique patterns:
After I have my papers picked out, I like to load on the elements!
Natalie outdid herself with these amazing fluffy puffy ribbons, threaded through eyelets and all tied up like a spun sugar present!
Are they flowers, or are they snowflakes? Decide for yourself and pick up Natalie’s Winter Blooms:
Next we have more Amy Wolff goodness with these shimmery, sparkly Candy Crystals :
and some hand-cut, stitched Snowy Swirls – just like snowflakes, no two are alike!
Next up are Amy Martin’s Felt Lines, a pack of intricately detailed 12″ felt borders:
Our uber-talented artist Kate Hadfield does not disappoint, and has a pack of adorably doodled Notebook Flakes:
and some Winter Doodles that make me want to bundle the dogs up in scarves, mittens and hats, just so I can use these!
And if that isn’t enough doodles for you, we’ve also got Doodled Tapes!
Next up is Jenna with a little bit of bling and her Jewel Flakes:
Jenna is also encouraging us to Swirl It Up on our layouts with a pack of 6 unique, stitched swirls:
We’ve also got some great paper pieces from Jacque Larsen:
Swirly, twirly fun with her Pretty Swirls
and some bold and bright Pretty Snowflakes:
And finally, the finishing touch on my pages is the alpha! And once again Amy Martin has out-alpha’d herself with the glitter and bling of Glitter Alphas 2a and Glitter Alphas 2b:
Both alphas include upper and lower case letters in each of the colors blue, green, orange and pink! So you do the math – each alpha pack has EIGHT full alphas! Wow! You can grab them separately, or as a bundle.
If you’d rather title your page with paper, try Jacque’s hand-cut, hand-painted Pretty Alpha:
If that wasn’t enough eye candy, check out what the Lilypad Polliwogs have created with this amazing collab:

WAIT! Who caught that little tidbit of information I tried to sneak in with all those amazing previews? That’s right, it’s a new addition to an already stellar line-up of designers! Jacque Larsen is now selling at the Lilypad! And no, she’s not a guest this month, she’s a permanent fixture at the Pad! Check back each Friday as she brings her stuff over and moves in to her new digs here at TLP. In addition to her contributions to this month’s BYOC Collab, she has some new products in the store, so don’t forget to check Jacque’s Pad out too! We’re thrilled to have her!
Okay, NOW you can hop on over to the Lilypad and start shopping! The new BYOC Collection can be found right HERE. In honor of Jacque’s Pad debut, select items throughout the store are on sale, and don’t forget to check the Retiring Section for Pad products that are on clearance and won’t be around much longer. Have fun!
