Seven years ago today, I became a mother! Nicholas is the most amazing little guy I’ve ever had (Ok, yes, he’s the only little guy I’ve ever had – but AMAZING, nonetheless!). I am always surprised at how quickly time passes and how much more grown up the kids get every year. Where is the pause button????
On the very same day, The Lilypad was born – the most AMAZING site for scrapbookers. No pause button needed here! We are HOPPIN’!!! To celebrate The Lilypad’s birthday, we have a fun weekend planned. Join us for games, prizes, fun, a free-with-purchase-kit, and most importantly- a sale! This weekend, the entire store is 30% off. You’ll find all the info in this forum: Lucky 7 Pad Party. Let’s CELEBRATE!!!!
Have you seen the new items released this weekend? Click HERE to see them all! And, the icing on the birthday cake is this fabulous collaboration from our talented designers:
To celebrate Nicholas’ 7th birthday, we did our annual photo shoot. Right now, he is completely and totally obsessed with video games. Santa brought him an Xbox for Christmas and he’s in love. We did a little video game themed shoot and I created this layout. Every year, I make a list of the kiddies’ favorite things. When I saw Valorie Wibbens’ “Currently” cards, I knew they were perfect for my page. This months’ BYOC has the exact shade of orange I needed and so many items to fit my needs. Find all of your needs at The Lilypad.
To celebrate The Lilypad’s 7th birthday, I have a little gift for you. I created a video of my process for creating the above layout. I know there are many ways to do things and there are probably many of you who are experienced Photoshop gurus, but perhaps someone new might be able to take away a few tips. Enjoy!
