I have many friends who have expressed interest in scrapbooking, but are hesitant because they don’t feel as if they have the time to dedicate to it.
I can’t tell you how often I’ve had friends marvel that I am able to “find” time to scrapbook. They often will say something like, “I just don’t have that kind of time. I don’t know how you do it all.”
I get it life is busy, but it’s no less busy for me or, I would venture to guess, you either. But we find time to scrapbook our precious memories because it is important to us. I am a huge believer in the fact that we will always make time for the things that are important to us.
With that being said, I want to share with you some productivity tools that I am using and loving right now that is helping me to accomplish a little more, stay a bit more organized, and thus find MORE time for the things I love the most, like scrapbooking!
Erin Condren Life Planner is the paper planner that I have used for years now. I LOVE my paper planner!!! It is the hub of my organization and planning. Plus, it’s pretty and I get to decorate it with fun supplies like Just Jaimee’s Printable Planner Kit.
Google Calendar is the electronic calendar that I use on my desktop and iPhone. YES, I use both a paper and electronic calendar. I love color coding each family member’s activities on my Google Calendar and I love that it syncs with my husband’s work calendar to help us stay on top of things.
Evernote is a great organizational tool. I use this mostly for tracking credits for scrapbooking layouts, recipe organization and taking notes on the books I’m reading. There is so much that this tool can do that I’m sure I’m just barely scratching the surface of its usefulness.
Wunderlist is a to-do list app that I recently started using and it has made a HUGE difference in the amount of things I get done in the day. Whenever I think of a task that needs to be done, I immediately enter it in Wunderlist and I don’t have to worry about forgetting something important. I also put a recurring task on it to check the forums and comment on layouts in the gallery here. That has helped me so much!!!
AnyList is an app that my husband and I use to share lists. We have a shared grocery list that helps so much when I’m shopping or I ask my husband to drop by the store. We also share lists for Target, Wal-mart, Lowe’s and other stores. And we’re able to have shared lists for bucket list items and vacation plans. The possibilities for this list making app are limitless and I love the ability to share lists with my husband.
Last Pass is an excellent tool for creating, storing and remembering internet passwords. There’s no more frustrating way to waste precious time than trying and failing to remember passwords. This app has saved so much time and frustration for me in that area!!
Plan to Eat is a tool that I rely on for menu planning and I don’t know what I would do without it! You can use it to add or import recipes (and then they’re saved for later use), plan meals for the week or month, and create a shopping list based on the meals you have planned.
All of these tools for FOR me to keep me organized and to save precious time so that I have more of it to do the things that I love!!!
What tools do you use and recommend for boosting productivity and finding more time to scrapbook?

I use Google Keep for lists/notes and Out of Milk for shopping lists. I like that Google Keep has the option for a checklist or just regular text.
